Hours: 72 hours per fortnight (9-day fortnight)
Salary: $118,000 + NFP benefits

Reporting directly to the Clinical Director, the Quality Educator will provide leadership to the senior management and clinical teams while promoting a strong culture of continuous improvement. This role plays a key part in ensuring high-quality, compassionate care that enhances both consumer and staff experience.
The Quality Educator supports the physical, emotional, and social wellbeing of residents and staff while ensuring compliance with all relevant safety, quality, and regulatory standards. You will also be responsible for quality improvement initiatives, reviewing and enhancing educational products and services, and assisting in the delivery of education and training workshops.
Support the Clinical Director and management team by providing leadership and clinical guidance
Act as a clinical resource and promote collaboration between residents, their representatives, and the care team
Provide on-site clinical education, assess competencies, and support ongoing professional development
Develop and deliver evidence-based education programs to address identified learning needs
Mentor and support transitional nurses to apply theory to practice
Participate in continuous improvement activities and ensure compliance with aged care legislation
Investigate and report Serious Incident Response Scheme (SIRS) matters
Conduct audits, report findings, and support excellence in care delivery and operations

Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Minimum 5 years’ clinical experience (aged care experience essential)
Strong leadership skills with excellent written and verbal communication
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable but not essential)
